WHO WE ARE
Dr. Lois Dodds is President and Director of Heartstream Resources. She and her husband Dr. Lawrence Dodds served for 23 years with Wycliffe Bible Translators and the Summer Institute of Linguistics, including thirteen years in the Amazon jungle of Peru.
PHILOSOPHY
The Heartstream Model of Holistic Care is designed to serve global workers. Our emphasis is on whole person healing, restoration to service, and the promotion of healthful living. Our aim is to prolong years of ministry and increase effectiveness and vitality—to Thrive in Life and Ministry!
HOW WE HELP
The holistic provision of a safe place, healthy food, teaching, counsel, recreation, prayer, and Christian community offers the individual a powerful dynamic that encourages reflection, healing, refreshment and growth. Heartstream is much more than a counseling center—it is an experience for the soul.

NEW ZEALAND
Heartstream Resources New Zealand began in 2002, the first partner to be established outside the USA. Pastor Stephen and Jocelyn Head lead Heartstream New Zealand. The office is located near Christchurch.

The HeartStream® Model of Holistic Care
INTENSIVE
Support and care for restoration of global workers who are suffering exhaustion, depletion, depression, burnout or other crisis as a result of ministry. The needs of the whole person are attended. Small groups provide an ideal setting for maximizing healing.
MEMBER CARE TRAINING
Learn to use current resources in the care of missionaries, including conference and training information, books, and unpublished papers. Emphasis is given to the practical application of theories to the individual and the effectiveness of the organization relating to and caring for persons.
MISSIONARY COUNSELING
and DEBRIEFING
Personal, individual counseling or debriefing, or couples and group counseling, are coupled with classes on relevant topics to cross-cultural life and to spiritual guidance. Our residential setting helps you find others who share your life-style and concerns.
MISSIONARY EVACUATION
We provide Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) to help you recover, promote your wellbeing, and prevent Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or other serious outcomes to trauma.
RETREAT CENTER
We offer an attractive, home-like setting for your small church or mission group. A cluster of homes, each with several very attractive and well-appointed rooms accommodates groups up to 20.

Heartstream Resources staff teach a variety of courses and topics related to missions, cross-cultural life, spiritual life, human development and leadership.
